ACLS and PALS Provider courses are the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada programs that you know well, simply combined into a single event. We offer the option to combine these courses any time we are offering ACLS and PALS courses back to back.
ACLS & PALS BLENDED
These are learning modules created by the HSF to prepare yourself for the in-person skills and stories. These must be done before the in-person sessions.
Once you register we will set you up with an access key for the ACLS & PALS Blended modules on the HSF website. If you need to cancel your course and have already claimed your access key(s) for the Blended learning module(s), then we will need to retain a $125 surcharge fee for each key as this is non-refundable via the HSF.
ADD BLS TO YOUR COURSE
The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is required prior to completion of your ACLS course. If you don’t have a current BLS certificate from the HSF, you can add it on when you register for your ACLS course and we’ll take care of it on the first day.
BLS BLENDED

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Delivered in partnership with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the ACLS | BLS | PALS Provider combined course is intended for healthcare providers working in a hospital or non-hospital setting who wish to increase their skills in the emergency cardiovascular and respiratory care of adults, children and infants. The knowledge and skills for resuscitating and stabilizing adults, infants and children in respiratory failure, cardiopulmonary arrest and shock are introduced and reinforced through ample practice. The ACLS | BLS | PALS Provider course utilizes case-based sessions, simulations, video presentations, didactic discussions and hands on practice to help each student achieve success in the course and in practice.
ACLS | BLS | PALS GUIDELINES UPDATE
In October 2020, the latest updates of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care Guidelines were released. Our ACLS | PALS | BLS courses support current practice with the new ACLS, PALS and BLS guidelines, including the latest updates with Covid-19.
